PROJET GAGNANT «LE MUR» A l'ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE LYON, FRANCE
Le concours consistait à créer un papier peint pour la cafétéria de l'école. Mon idée était de prendre un modèle traditionnel de William Morris et de le vider, afin de voir ce qu'il y avait dessous. Les images que vous pouviez percevoir étaient les collations des machines elles-mêmes. J'ai pris des photos de la cafétéria pour les glisser sous le motif et créer un papier-peint «in situ». Nous pouvons voir les lumières sont augmentées, le mur rouge colore l'extrémité droite du papier peint et les couleurs correspondent aux machines du lieu.
WINNER CONTEST «THE WALL» AT THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS IN LYON, FRANCE
The contest was to create a wallpaper for the School’s cafeteria. My idea was to take a traditional pattern of William Morris and empty it, in order to see what was underneath. The images that you could perceive were the snacks from the machines themselves. I took pictures of the cafeteria to slip them under the pattern and create an «in situ» wallpaper. We can see the lights are increased, the red wall colors the right end of the wallpaper and the colors correspond to the machines on site.
